Central Coast for Palestine — 10 January 2026
Central Coast for Palestine —Fundraiser for Gaza Soup Kitchen
1/8/20261 min read
On Friday 10 January, I’ll be performing on the Central Coast as part of Central Coast for Palestine, and the event has now sold out.
I’m deeply grateful to be included in an evening centred on culture, community, and care for civilians affected by war. Events like this matter — not because they offer easy answers, but because they create space for people to listen, reflect, and support humanitarian efforts in a tangible way.
Many of the songs I’ll be performing come from my upcoming album, The World Knows. These are songs written as witness, drawing connections between history and the present, between displacement, hunger, and the quiet normality that often surrounds distant suffering. They are not written to persuade, but to document, remember, and refuse indifference.
I’ve previously shared these songs at community and fundraising events in Parramatta, at the Gaelic Club Gaza fundraiser, and now on the Central Coast. Each time, I’m reminded that folk music, at its best, still has a role to play in bringing people together around shared humanity.
Thank you to the organisers and to everyone who has supported this sold-out event. I’m looking forward to sharing the songs in a space where listening still matters.
